The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has released the recruitment notification in IBPS PO 2016 Exam (CWE PO/MT-VI) for PO & Management Trainee posts in different Public Sector bank and other financial institution in partner with IBPS. This is the 6th time after in presence IBPS is organizing this exam. IBPS PO Exam 2016 will be divided into three sessions: Preliminary exam, Main Exam and after clearing the both followed by an Interview.

IBPS PO 2016 Notification:
According to the official notification released on www.ibps.in website, online registration for IBPS PO 2016 exam will start from July 26, 2016, and last date for submitting the online application is August 13, 2016. You can download the IBPS PO 2016 Notification PDF Here.
After two main exams and interview, IBPS will declare the result IBPS PO 2016 exam in 2017-18. There is a total of 8822 IBPS PO Vacancies for Probationary Officer & Management Trainees.
IBPS PO 2016 Eligibility Details:
- A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.07.1986 and not later than 01.07.1996 (both dates
- Age Limit for IBPS Bank PO 2016 is 20 to 30 years of age as on July 1, 2016.
- For OBC candidate there is 3 years relaxation while for SC/ST candidates age relaxation is 5 years as on July 1, 2016.
All the candidates who are applying for this Bank PO post must have graduation degree from UGC recognized university till Aug 13, 2016. There is no specific percentage mentioned by IBPS in graduation to apply for this post.
All the candidates who receive their admit card after applying online will have to go through the Preliminary exam. After clearing the first exam, they have to pass the Main exam. Candidates who clear the main exam will be shortlisted for Interview process which will be conducted at various centers across the country in different states or union territories.
After the interview, candidates have to fill up the order of bank preference in which they want to get posted.

IBPS is an autonomous body set up to evolve and provide world class selective personnel to various government and private organizations in the banking industry. IBPS started Common Written Examinations in 2011 for all his banks which use their services to get employees for their banks. There is 29 Public Sector banks and some rural banks listed above.
The Big News is that: “Previously After clearing the two exams, Candidates has to go through Interview Process but as of now from 2016, there is no interview process after the exam. Candidates will be directly selected for PO and He/She have to select the Bank according to his preference.”
PO is the first ladder to clear if you want to serve as an officer in the banking industry. A Probationary Office (PO) holds the position of Assistant Manager (AM) in the bank. He is Junior Management Grade-1 Office or JMS Scale 1 officer.
